Seattle is a beautiful city in the northwest corner of the United
States. Home of Boeing, Microsoft, and Starbucks, it is a popular base for creative types. Those who put up with
the frequent rain are rewarded by a lush green environment of pine forests, snow-capped mountains (including still active
volcanoes), lakes and waterways.
More importantly for my purposes, Seattle is the home of some of
my dearest friends, Heather and Remick Merry, and Heather's parents, Art and Fran.
